Welcome to my Home Page & Welcome to Chemistry

Mr. Wood is currently teaching AP chemistry, regular chemistry and marine biology.  He has taught chemistry/science for the last 15 years!  Mr. Wood truly enjoys working with his students at Hoover High School.  He also likes puppy dogs, long walks on the beach and getting caught in the rain.  In his spare time, he is a devoted father, wanna-be runner, a washed-up basketball player and an avid outdoorsman.

Students in Mr. Wood's chemistry class explore the properties and interactions of matter in the world around them.  They are constantly in lab learning to titrate, analyze and explore.  Mr. Wood's students LOVE chemistry because of all the amazing labs and topics they cover.  Students in Mr. Wood's class can clearly be identified by their permanent goggle marks left on their faces from recent labs.
