About our chapter
The Hoover High School Chapter of National Honor Society was established in 1939. Each fall, juniors and seniors who have the required grade point are invited to attend a membership information meeting where the selection process is explained. Our chapter currently has 79 members. Service Opportunities
June 3, 2012 HHS Graduation....volunteers needed to distribute programs and help with seating
Summer Service
Complete a MINIMUM of 10 hours for either project, with adult signature, and it will count as an ISP.
Complete a MINIMUM of 2 hours for either project, with adult signature, and it will count as one service activity for Fall, 2012.
Mt. Pleasant Co-operative Garden Project
at Mr. Pleasant Church of the Brethren to support the Stark County Hunger Task Force. General weeding and harvesting produce--dress appropriately. Tools and gloves provided. Scheduling is through e-mail on an as-needed basis and is weather dependent. Mid-May through August.

Camp Invention
at Hoover High School! Summer activity "camp" for elementary age students--volunteers are needed to help supervise activities. 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. June 11-15.
