NCMS cross country ran this past Saturday in the Stark County Invitational at Glenoak high school with the girls taking 2nd and the boys taking 3rd. It was a muddy wet mess as the runners took the hills and flats in stride to bring home team victories! While most of the runners came off the course covered in mud every runner brought home a great course time.
Boys 3rd out of 15 teams, 68 points
Girls2nd out of 11 teams, 70 points
It was a great day for a race and the cross country team ran great!!! The cross country team hosted Oakwood middle school and brought out great times. The boys won with a score of 21 to 34 and girls won with a score of 20 to 38.
It was another muddy course for the NCMS XC team at Cloverleaf this past Saturday, but they ran hard and packed tight! Boys Varsity took 2nd place out of 20 teams and girls Varsity took 3rd place out of 23 teams. In the open races the girls placed 5th with the boys taking 7th.

Congrats to the Girls XC team who were Runners Up at the Spartan Invitational at Boardman. The girls got 2nd out of 18 teams!!!! Way to run strong girls :)
Congrats also to the Boys XC team who placed a strong 4th at Boardman. They ran against 16 other teams. It was a gorgeous day to run and the times reflected that.
Keep working hard, running fast and running your best guys :)
A BIG thank you to all of our MS runners who sold car wash tickets. We raised $927 to help the HS XC program.

Looking for practice/ meet info: Go to the daily calendar link and scroll down to the date of the meet. For directions use the address given and head to mapquest.com.
IMPORTANT SIGN OUT INSTRUCTIONS FOR AWAY MEETS: If your son/ daughter is riding home with you instead of taking the bus home from an away meet, please sign them out at the tent. There will be 2 clipboards at the tent; one for the boys and one for the girls. Simply sign your name next to your child's name so we know they are accounted for. Thanks for your help :)
