Welcome to my homepage!  I am excited to be the high school counselor serving students whose last names fall between Dr and Kj. This year I am sharing the Guidance Department Chair duties with Mrs. Tarantino.  Prior to counseling, I was a science teacher at Hoover High School for 4 years and at Hilliard High School in the Columbus area for 5 years. I graduated from Marywood University in Scranton, PA, with a B.S. in Biology, Ohio State University with a M.A. in Science Education, and earned my counseling certification at Malone College.

My husband, Dave, retired as a Math teacher and the varsity basketball coach at Canton McKinley H.S, and now is teaching Math classes at Walsh University and Stark State College, as well as doing private tutoring in Math, ACT Prep and gives basketball lessons.  I have 2 grown daughters, a fabulous son-in-law, and a darling  granddaughter and grandson. My hobbies include reading, cooking, biking and golf.

I am the advisor of the Agape Girls, a mentoring group of junior and senior girls, who go to the Middle School to work with the 7th grade girls in the hopes of reducing the relational aggression that is so common among girls that age.  Please go to my links to see this year's calendar.
