Hello and welcome to my web page. I have been teaching for North Canton Schools for twenty-two years.  I taught for the Title 1 program for 11 years.  Teaching first grade is a good match for me because I am passionate about teaching children to read and write.  I graduated from Akron University and went on to do graduate work at Walsh and Ashland College.

     My husband and I moved here 30 years ago.  We heard so much about the community and school system.  We agree that North Canton is a great place to raise a family.  We raised our two sons here.  They both attended Clearmount and are Hoover grads.  They both went on to become college graduates.  I thank their teachers for preparing them well for college. 

     I am looking forward to an exciting year with your children.  First graders are so eager to learn.  It is refreshing to watch the excitement on their faces day in and day out.  I feel privileged to have a job that I enjoy so much.
